In mid-November of last year, the employees of Great Plains Transportation Services, Inc. and Partners Funding, Inc. started our ninth annual “Jeans for Charity” dress casual fundraising event. Over the course of the following 31 business days if the employees wanted to wear jeans they needed to donate a specific amount each day they were worn.
In the years prior, Great Plains and Partners Funding employees along with the owners of both companies had raised $88,967.00 from the Jeans for Charity campaigns held in December and July of each year. This year, we set the huge goal of raising enough money to bring the total to $100,000.00!!!!
We are extremely proud of our employees in that they were able to participate reaching this monumental goal!
This brings the total of funds raised in the Jeans for Charity events over the past nine years to $100,067.00. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have an amazing team of employees that share the passion of helping others and our community.
This year, there were nine organizations we were able to help with our donations. We are excited to continue our Jeans for Charity events in the future and can’t wait to hit our next fundraising goal.
